Dog/Cat Paw Licking Booties

When Skippy first developed this terrible habit, I thought this was just his way of cleaning himself. My dog was rescued from the pound so I didn't know how stressed he was, until he started losing hair from his front paws from licking so much.
After him developing a bad skin irritation, and taking him to the doctor several times, and the frustration that nothing was working, I decided to make him these special booties (http://www.etsy.com/listing/73320947/dogcat-paw-licking-booties), and I put them on at night and when I leave him alone at home. It has improved the problem dramatically, so I decided to offer them to people like me, who love their pets unconditionally and don't know what else to do to help them!
As you can see in the pictures, the dog is pretty comfortable in them and it allows him to continue with his daily routine. And most importantly, these cute booties will not only save you trips to the vet, but also lots of money in meds and the hazzle of having to treat your beloved four-legged pet. I truly believe that these booties are the best investment you can make on the path of your pet's recovery!

These special booties can be made with yarn and cotton thread in different patterns, for the different seasons of the year. The style shown on the pictures is the one my dog was wearing during the winter months. Booties are made for small to medium dogs and cats in a variety of colors. Please convo me for details. I also have styles with a less tight stitch on the body part which allows for ventilation in the warmer months. Please feel free to convo me for details and questions.
To purchase this beautiful item, just click on the picture or click on the following link: http://www.etsy.com/listing/73320947/dogcat-paw-licking-booties And if you are not ready to buy, feel free to stop buy and share your stories with us! =)

NOTE: These booties are meant to break the habit of licking/chewing, not to treat any underlying problem your pet may have. Chewing, biting and licking paws or any other part of their bodies can be a sign of stress, or the symptom of an unknown illness.
